Connect an AI assistant to AMAM Trading

Let ChatGPT, Claude or Claude Code search the AMAM catalogue, view product details and browse categories on your behalf. You sign in with your store account, and the assistant only sees what your account can see.

Connect

ChatGPT

Open ChatGPT connector settings and enable Developer mode (heed the risk notice shown there). If Developer mode is unavailable, ask a ChatGPT admin to enable it.

Open the New plugin dialog.

Enter AMAM Trading as the name and paste the MCP URL above into the URL field.

Review the details, check “I understand and want to continue” (ChatGPT shows this warning for every custom MCP server, not just this one), then click Create.

Enable the app from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to use it — for example, “Search AMAM Trading for vitamin C serums”.

Claude

Open the prefilled custom-connector dialog — it opens with the name and URL already filled in.

Review the details and click Add.

If the prefilled form does not open, open Claude’s Connectors page, choose Add custom connector, name it AMAM Trading and paste the MCP URL above.

Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use it.

Claude Code

Run this one-line install command in a terminal:

Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm AMAM Trading is connected. Claude Code asks you to sign in from that menu because this store protects its tools.

Ask Claude Code to use the app — for example, “Find Nourkrin products in the AMAM store”.

Open the client’s MCP server or custom connector settings.

Refresh after the app changes

A connected assistant caches the tool list. After the store ships changes, refresh the connection to pick up the latest tools.

Open ChatGPT’s Plugins page and select this app.

Scroll down to Information and click Refresh.

ChatGPT can’t update an existing app’s URL — if it changed, delete the app from Plugins and repeat the connect steps above with the latest URL.
