COSRX Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF50+ PA+++: What It Is and How to Use It
Product guide · Al Mahara · Updated 1 Nov 2026
COSRX describes its Aloe Soothing Sun Cream as so lightweight it feels like a moisturiser, with no white cast and a compact tube that's easy to carry for top-ups.
Here is what it is, who it suits and how to use it. Sources are linked at the end.
What it is
A daily face sunscreen rated SPF50+ and PA+++ by COSRX: high UVB protection, and a PA+++ UVA grade, one step below the top PA++++.
Its ingredient list includes titanium dioxide alongside chemical filters, which COSRX says leaves no white cast.
Key ingredients
COSRX lists an aloe complex at 55,000 ppm (5.5%) as the key ingredient, to soothe and hydrate.
The full ingredient list also includes fragrance and alcohol. If your skin reacts to fragrance, choose a fragrance-free sunscreen instead.
Who it suits
COSRX suggests it for dehydrated skin, people who don't want a white cast, and anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors.
Normal and dry skin usually get on well with its moisturiser-like feel. Oily skin may prefer a matte or gel sunscreen.
How to use it
- Apply a generous amount to your face as the last step of your morning routine. COSRX recommends applying it 30 minutes before sun exposure.
- Use at least a teaspoon for the face, as the American Academy of Dermatology suggests.
- Reapply during the day, especially during long sun exposure, and after sweating or swimming.
Where it fits in your routine
Use it after your moisturiser in the morning, or on its own over a light toner if your skin is normal. Remove it at night with a gentle double cleanse.
